      Begin your journey through Portugal by flying into Madeira Airport, officially Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC). Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our driver who will provide a warm welcome and a private transfer to your hotel in Funchal. Nestled in a bay along the south coast, it’s the capital as well as the cultural and commercial hub of the archipelago lying off Africa’s northwest coast. After checking into your hotel, settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps at the outdoor pool or spa.

      It’s time to say farewell to Maderia and hello to Porto. It’s long been famous for its port wine but it’s become increasingly popular as a travel destination for many other reasons, including architectural masterpieces like the Church of Sao Francisco, the atmospheric pedestrianized Ribeira along the riverfront, and numerous museums. A private transfer will bring you back to the airport from your Funchal hotel where you’ll catch your flight to Porto.
