Tokyo: Welcome to Tokyo, Japan
Your Japanese adventure begins the moment you touch down in Tokyo. A private transfer will be waiting to whisk you away to your hotel in the city center, a journey of about 50 minutes. Once you’re settled in, the rest of the day is yours. Will you take a first stroll through the electric streets or simply relax and anticipate the discoveries to come?

Tokyo: Tokyo's Iconic Sights
Your first full day starts with a guided tour to Meiji Jingu, a peaceful Shinto shrine surrounded by a forest in the city’s heart. From there, you’ll dive into the vibrant street fashion of Harajuku and the sophisticated boutiques of Omotesando. After lunch, discover the beauty of Korakuen Garden before ending in Asakusa, home to the ancient Senso-ji Temple and the bustling Nakamise market street.
- Day 3
Tokyo: Markets, Sushi, and Shinjuku Nights
Join your guide for a morning at the famous Tsukiji Outer Market, weaving through stalls and sampling local treats. Next, you’ll get hands-on experience during a private sushi-making lesson with a master chef, learning to craft your own delicious lunch. The evening is a guided exploration of Shinjuku’s nightlife, starting with food and drinks in the nostalgic Omoide Yokocho and finishing in the lively Golden Gai district.

Kanazawa: Bullet Train to Kanazawa & Evening Izakaya
This morning, a private car will take you to the station to catch a bullet train to Kanazawa, a journey of about three hours. After checking into your hotel, you have some free time before your evening food tour begins. With a local guide, you’ll explore the back alleys of the Korinbo District, sampling fresh sashimi and regional specialties at two hand-picked restaurants.

Kanazawa: The Arts and Samurai of Kanazawa
With your guide, you’ll spend the day exploring Kanazawa’s rich cultural heritage. You’ll start at the renowned Kenroku-en Garden, one of Japan’s top three gardens, before heading to the bustling Omicho Market for a fresh seafood lunch. The afternoon includes a visit to the historic Higashi Chaya geisha district and Nomura House, a beautifully restored samurai residence.
- Day 6
Kyoto: Bullet Train to Kyoto & Evening Geisha Walk
You’ll travel by bullet train to Kyoto, a journey of about two and a half hours. After a private transfer to your hotel, the day is yours until your evening tour. As lanterns begin to glow, you will join an expert guide for a walk through Gion, Kyoto’s famous geisha district. You’ll learn about the lives of geisha and maiko as you wander past traditional teahouses and perhaps even spot one on her way to an appointment.

Kyoto: Kyoto Icons by Bicycle
Get ready for an active day exploring Japan’s cultural capital by bike. You’ll pedal to the impressive Nishi Hongan-ji Temple complex and the historic Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, the tour continues to the glittering Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, and the tranquil rock garden of Ryoan-ji. Your ride concludes in the scenic Arashiyama district, known for its famous bamboo forest.

Kyoto: Arashiyama's Backroads & Tea Ceremony
Today you’ll explore the quieter side of Arashiyama on a four-hour walking tour, visiting highlights such as the unique Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple with its 1,200 stone statues, and the lesser-known bamboo grove at Adashino Nenbutsuji. Later, you’ll experience one of Japan’s most treasured arts in a private tea ceremony. A tea master will welcome you into their home and guide you through the history and rituals of preparing and serving matcha.
- Day 9
Hakone: To Hakone and a Ryokan Stay
A two-hour bullet train ride brings you to Hakone, a hot spring town famous for its views of Mount Fuji. Upon arrival, a private vehicle will transfer you to your accommodation. You’ll experience a classic Japanese ryokan, complete with tatami floors, futon beds, and an on-site hot spring bath. Your stay includes a traditional multi-course dinner featuring local delicacies.
- Day 10
Hakone: Exploring Hakone National Park
Today is free for you to explore Hakone independently using your included Hakone Free Pass. You could ride the ropeway up Mt. Owakudani to taste a “kuro-tamago” black egg, cruise across Lake Ashi on a replica pirate ship, visit the impressive Hakone Open Air Museum, or take a short hike along the historic Old Tokaido Road to the charming Amazake Teahouse. On a clear day, you might just catch a breathtaking glimpse of the elusive Mount Fuji.
- Day 11
Tokyo: Departure from Tokyo
Enjoy a final Japanese breakfast before your scheduled private transfer to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, a journey of about two hours. You’ll depart with memories of serene temples, vibrant neon streets, and the exceptional hospitality experienced throughout your journey.
