Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Warsaw, Poland

Poland, Warsaw

Welcome to Warsaw. After touching town at Warsaw Chopin airport, you’ll take private transfer to your hotel in the city. Poland’s capital is the cultural, political and economic center, home to fascinating museums, grand castles, lush green spaces, diverse architecture and an interesting yet sobering history. The Presidential Palace, Mostowski Palace and Royal Castle offers a glimpse back in time. After checking into your accommodation and getting settled in, you might want to relax after your long flight or jump right in and do some exploring on your own. The city’s dining and entertainment scene is the best in the country.

Day 2 Warsaw: Private City Tours

Poland, Warsaw

Join a local guide for a private tour of Poland’s communist history in a socialist-style car this morning, starting at Constitution Square, a former model residential area used by the working class. Learn about the Utopian plans of the post-car reconstruction at the Ministry of Agriculture and marvel at the city’s symbol, the Ministry of Culture and Science. See the famous 1970s blocks of flats at Iron Gate Square and conclude with a Polish aperitif. A private guided tour of the Summer Palace and Park with its opulent interiors and spectacular grounds with a rose garden and Italian Baroque garden follows this afternoon.

Day 3 Krakow: Private City Tour

Your driver will meet you for a private train station transfer followed by a train ride to the magnificent medieval city Krakow. Enjoy a tour with your private driver/guide starting at Market Square, exploring the 13th-entury Cloth Hall with its impressive Polish paintings and handicrafts followed by the 13th-century St. Mary’s Basilica. Marvel at the impeccably preserved Gothic arcades at the Collegium Maius, explore the National Museum and the Wawel Castle with its incredible Renaissance interiors and famous Sigismund Chapel. Finish your tour with a scenic stroll along the river a a limestone cave that’s said to be the home of a legendary dragon.

Day 4 Krakow: Auschwitz Tour

Krakow, Poland

A sobering yet important tour that reveals the story behind the Nazi’s largest extermination camp, Auschwitz, is on the agenda today. Between the spring of 1942 and autumn of 1944, trains brought Jews to its gas chambers from across Nazi-occupied Europe. Today, this area that was the largest site of genocide has been well preserved and hosts the Holocaust Museum. You’ll visit a barracks in Auschwitz I and an extermination camp at Auschwitz II. Before your arrival, your driver/guide will tell you more about the history of the site. Upon entering, you’ll join an Auschwitz guide for a shared group tour.

Day 5 Prague: Private Walking Tour

Leaving Krakow this morning, take private transfer to Prague. After getting settled into your hotel room, you’ll join a guide for a private walking tour of this beautiful city. Your local guide will tell you all about its recent history, the culture and daily life, while bringing you to sample a variety of tasty local foods. As it’s entirely customised to your unique interests and tastes, you’ll be able to experience what you want, including the types of foods, art, the popular attractions and more, with food and drink included. Just let us know if you have any allergies/dislikes or particular preferences in advance.

Day 6 Prague: Karlstejn Castle Tour

You’ll have a half-day to enjoy at your leisure, while the other half will be spent with your private driver/guide who will bring you to the 14th century Karlstejn Castle. Built by Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles Iv, it once held the treasure of the Holy Roman Empire, including the coronation jewels. You’ll find lots to explore on your own too, with everything from lush riverside parks and countless art galleries to nightclubs and beer gardens. Stroll the narrow streets, visit storied churches and statue-lined bridges. You might want to visit the famous Charles Bridge and historic Prague Castle.

Day 7 Berlin: Transfer from Prague

You’ll have a half-day to enjoy at your leisure, while the other half will be spent with your private driver/guide who will bring you to the 14th century Karlstejn Castle. Visit up-and-coming areas like Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg, where you’ll explore a Turkish community, including an eclectic mix of alternative art galleries, urban farms and organic markets. Delve into the counterculture movements throughout the city’s history and discover the fantastic culinary scene while learning about the renowned Love Parade electronic dance music festival. Yaam Beach will be your last stop, where you’re sure to gain an appreciation for the city’s diverse ethnic and artistic communities.

Day 9 Departure day

Germany, Berlin

Your memorable eight nights come to an end this morning. After checking out of your Berlin hotel, you’ll take private transfer to Tegel Airport to begin your journey home. Of course, if this adventure isn’t long enough, there are many other enticing places throughout Europe and beyond to explore.
