This morning you’ll be met by private transfer, returning to the port to board your ferry to Santorini. As you sail in, you’ll be greeted by the steep walls of the dramatic caldera for a rather striking first impression. Upon arrival, a private driver will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After taking time to settle in and refresh, get ready for a wine tour. Your private driver/guide will bring you to two local wineries. At each one, you’ll get to learn about local production methods firsthand, and enjoy tastings of traditional Santorini wines.

There are several interesting and scenic hikes on Santorini, but the hike to Oia that follows alongside the caldera cliffs is the most impressive of all. Following your private guide, you’ll take in endless views of the sapphire sea and pass historic sites along the way. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, viewing Santorini’s iconic caldera from the water while enjoying the salty sea breeze and the feel of the sun on your skin. You’ll around the volcanic caldera, discovering unique rock formations and hidden caves, relaxing on the deck surrounded by stunning views. There will be stops made so that you can swim in those enticing clear waters too.

Enjoy the morning at your leisurely, sleeping in or just relaxing and enjoying the views. In the afternoon, your private driver/guide will pick you up for a tour of Santorini’s own Pompeii. More than 3,500 years ago during the massive volcanic eruption, the ancient city of Akrotiri was covered in ash. It was kept incredible well-preserved providing a glimpse of daily life in the prehistoric settlement which even had an elaborate draining system, along with small homes, beautiful frescoes, ancient pottery and other household items. After your tour, you can enjoy watching the sun go down from the Akrotiri lighthouse.
