The Float House Overview
The Float House can only be accessed by boat, with a free transfer included from Phutakien Pier. It’s an hour from the river town of Kanchanaburi, made up of luxurious villas that are all floating on the water and surrounded by dense, lush jungle. The perfect place to get away from it all, each one is completely private, providing the feel of seclusion where the only sounds you’ll hear are from the chirping birds and passing dinghies. Each air-conditioned villa includes its own terrace with a pier and teakwood swing for relaxing while enjoying the spectacular scenery. They also feature upscale amenities like flat-screen cable TVs with DVD players, complimentary Wi-Fi, minibars, bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffeemakers and free bottled water. The on-site River Spa provides relaxing Thai massages, indulgent facials and more, while the Pontoon Floating Restaurant & Bar serves Thai and international fare with local ingredients.
