Tabin Wildlife Resort Overview
Located in a wildlife hotspot, Tabin Wildlife Resort sits along the shallow banks of the Lipad River with mud volcanoes that serve as salt licks for a wide range of animals, large and small, including bearded pigs, tembadau (wild cattle), and elephants. Guests enjoy treks there along with visits to a waterfall and night drives searching for nocturnal wildlife. There’s a good chance that you’ll see at least three of Borneo’s eight hornbill species, while the Borneo pygmy elephant is frequently spotted across the river. There’s a dining lounge with Wi-Fi while rooms all include en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, private balconies, and air-conditioning.
