Swiss Hotel the Bosphorus Overview
One of the most luxurious hotels in Istanbul, Swisshotel the Bosphorus overlooks the strait in the Besiktas district on the lush grounds of a former Ottoman Palace. Taksim Square is easily accessible, yet it’s in a quiet, mostly residential area. It includes a vast spa and sports center with an indoor lap pool, cardio and weight-training equipment, running track, sports courts, and classes in boxing, yoga, and Pilates. There’s also a salt pool, Turkish bath, sauna, hot tub, and treatment rooms for beauty and wellness treatments. The rooftop infinity pool with a view of the Bosphorus is a definite highlight. There are four on-site eateries, including Café Swiss which offers an extensive breakfast buffet and a view of the strait. During the warmer months, Gaja Roof Restaurant and Gaja Sky Bar offers alfresco dining and drinks. The wide range of accommodation options includes rooms, suites, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, and two-story lofts.
