Sofitel Legend Metropole, Hanoi Overview
Hanoi’s most historic, iconic, and luxurious hotel, the Sofitel Legend Metropole was originally built in 1901 and is centrally located in the city’s French Quarter. It includes an outdoor heated pool at its center which is surrounded by loungers and umbrellas. The poolside Bamboo Bar famously attracts some of the city’s most elite to sip cocktails in this elegant space, while the Le Spa du Metropole offers a menu of Eastern- and Western-inspired treatments. In the fitness center you’ll find an outstanding selection of weight-training and cardio equipment. There are three restaurants on-site, including Le Beaulieu which serves a breakfast buffet and French fare, Angelina for Italian and Spices Garden, serving Vietnamese dishes with a French twist. Rooms are French-inspired and include flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, minibars, robes and slippers. Some have pool or garden views. For 24-hour butler service and other perks, book one of the club level rooms.
