Embarkation is from 3 to 4 p.m. You’ll have time to get settled into your cabin and enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by a safety drill before sailing to nearby St. Anne. This virtually uninhabited island is home to just a few families as part of a protected marine park, known for its wild population of around 250 giant tortoises as well as being a former leper colony, with ruins of the homes still visible today. It’s also home to the “Doctor’s House,” a colonial villa where the island’s doctor lived in the 1870s, along with scenic nature trails. A delicious barbecue will be hosted on the beach, with time to enjoy the sea and the sand.

You’ll sail for Cousin Island this morning, with a tour on the 27-hectare granitic island included. A protected bird reserve, created to save the last remaining population of Seychelles warblers, it’s also the Western Indian Ocean’s most important breeding site for hawksbill turtles. Some of the conservation activities include research, monitoring the biodiversity and the re-introduction of endangered species like the Seychelles Magpie Robin. Praslin

You next destination is Aride, a nature reserve where you’ll discover what the archipelago was like 250 years ago before humans arrived. It’s home to one of the Indian Ocean’s most important seabird populations, with more breeding species here than any other in the Seychelles, including 18 native bird species. It plays a key role in the conservation of Seychelles wildlife, in the water and on land. Enjoy exploring before cruising on to St. Pierre Island, where we’ll after shortly after lunch to enjoy a swim stop. Sail at sunset, docking at Baie St. Anne on Praslin before joining us for a Creole-themed evening.
