Riva Surya Overview
The elegant Riva Surya is an upscale property in Bangkok’s Pra Athit/Khao San district, a five-minute walk to lively Kao San with a river ferry stop nearby. Rooms have a clean, modern look with a typical colonial Thai design and include amenities like flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, iPod docks, tea and coffee facilities, minibars, safes, robes, and slippers. While most rooms have a picturesque view of the city or river, the river rooms are by far the best and provide a more tranquil, quiet setting too. The property includes a riverside pool and massage services, which can be enjoyed in your room or at poolside. There’s a well-equipped gym that also hosts fitness and yoga classes too. The outstanding on-site restaurant offers an extensive breakfast buffet along with European, Asian, and Thai fare. There are two bars that stay open late and offer discounted drinks from late afternoon to early evening.
