Rachamankha Overview
Located in the heart of Chiang Mai’s Old City, Rachamankha is an intimate boutique property with the look of a heritage hotel. Designed by an award-winning architect inspired by 15th-century Lanna architecture, the luxurious rooms feature priceless antiques, tiled or hardwood floors, and high ceilings with modern amenities that don’t take away from the elegant ambiance. Each one is air-conditioned and includes free Wi-Fi, a TV and DVD player. The romantic Deluxe Room comes with a silk-draped canopy bed while the two-bedroom suites are as large as an apartment and provide private access to the pool. The pool sits in its own courtyard with daybeds and umbrellas, while the adjacent spa offers massages, which can also be enjoyed in-room. Dining is enjoyed in the restaurant or a serene courtyard and includes a focus on northern Thai, Burmese, and Shan fare. There’s also a library with an extensive collection, including some antique books.
