Pangkor Laut Resort Overview
Set in the Malacca Straits off Malaysia’s West Coast, around a 3 hour transfer from capital KL, is the private island resort of Pangkor Laut. The pristine 300-acre island is carpeted in ancient rainforest and fringed with white sandy beaches, and is home not only to one of the word’s premier resorts – once declared the world’s best by Conde Nast – but to a variety of tropical wildlife, including macaques, hornbills, sea eagles, and monitor lizards. 140 beautifully appointed villas are set either across the forested hillside or sitting on stilts over the emerald waters, all very generous in size and equipped with luxurious amenities. Dining at the resort is a celebration of regional flavours, with a variety of outlets to choose from, as well as an enticing selection of private dining experiences. A dedicated spa village caters to your every health and wellness whim, while a wide range of nature walks, boat trips, and cultural activities can be arranged onsite.
