Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Panama City, Panama

Panama City

Begin your exciting Latin America adventure! Your driver will pick you up from Tocumen International Airport and take you to your four-star hotel in the capital’s center. Explore the city at your leisure or relax in your hotel.

    Day 2 Panama City, Panama

    Old Town, Panama City

    A full day of sightseeing is ahead of you. Sights on this all-encompassing driving and walking tour include the Miraflores Locks, the UNESCO-listed Casca Viejo, a beautiful nature walk, and a visit to a bustling local market.

      Day 3 Flamenco Marina, Panama City, Panama

      Panama City

      Your private transfer will take you from your hotel to board your floating home for the next seven nights. Embarkation is between 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm. Relax in your cabin or join your fellow guests at the Welcome cocktail party on board. Meet the crew and the captain. Enjoy a drink while observing the sunset. Overnight in port.

        Day 4 Flamenco Marina, Panama City, Panama

        Gatun Lake, Panama

        After breakfast, join our optional excursion to Gatun Lake. The large artificial lake forms part of the Panama Canal and carries vessels of all shapes and sizes. Explore Fort San Lorenzo and the abandoned village of Chagres. Visit the Panama Canal Expansion Observation Centre and learn all about the world-famous canal’s history. After lunch, we return to Panama City and visit the Canal Museum. The public, the non-profit museum is devoted to showcasing all aspects of the construction of the important Panama Canal. Watch the ships in the locks before dinner is served on board.

          Day 5 Panama City – Pearl Islands, Panama

          Snorkelling, Pearl Islands, Panama

          Early morning departure from Panama City to Pearl Islands. The beautiful archipelago Pearl islands consist of 200 plus islets that are situated in the Gulf of Panama, off the Pacific coast. Enjoy a refreshing mid-morning swim or snorkel before lunch is served on board. In the afternoon, you have free time to relax and take in the spectacular oceanic scenery, or to catch up with your reading, socializing or sunbathing. After dinner on board, observe the stunning sunset from the deck, as we set sail towards Playa Muerto. Overnight at anchor.

            Day 6 Playa Muerto – Darien National Park, Panama

            Darien National Park, Panama

            After breakfast, join our optional excursion to the Darien National Park. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is Panama’s most extensive natural park and also one of the most ecologically significant sites in all of Central America. The friendly Embera Indians will welcome you to explore the beautiful attraction. One of seven indigenous groups living in Panama, the Embera Indians are renowned for their expertly made handicrafts and long-standing traditions and customs. In the afternoon we continue sailing to Cebaco Island. Overnight at sea.

              Day 7 Caleta Caiman/ Restingue Island – Cebaco Island – Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica

              Enjoy an invigorating morning swim or an exciting snorkel experience, on arrival in Caleta Caiman/Restingue Island. The idyllic paradise island is yours to explore at your leisure until midday. We venture to nearby Cebaco Island for a delicious beach BBQ lunch. You have ample time to take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters. In the early afternoon, we continue sailing to Golfo Dulce. The scenic and peaceful inlet extends from the Pacific Ocean to the west of the city of Rincon. Dinner on board and overnight at sea.

                Day 8 Casa Orquideas – Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica

                Casa Orquideas, Costa Rica

                We arrive in the port town of Golfito in the early hours and continue cruising to nearby Casa Orquideas. On arrival, join our optional excursion to the local botanical garden and admire the beautiful endemic flowers and plants of Costa Rica. On return to the ship, enjoy a swim break before we sail across the bay to Puerto Jimenez. BBQ lunch is served on deck. In the afternoon, visit the Osa Peninsula on our optional excursion. One of Costa Rica’s most remote locations, the Osa Peninsula boasts a rainforest teeming with endemic animal life.

                  Day 9 Playa Biesanz, Costa Rica

                  Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

                  On arrival in Quepos, join our optional excursion to the Manuel Antonio Reserve. The extensive tropical paradise features one of the world’s most beautiful stretches of white sandy beach and lush evergreen forests that are home to indigenous wildlife. Explore the natural wonderland at your leisure before and after lunch. In the afternoon, we sail to nearby Playa Biesanz for a swim break. Return to the ship for the evening’s tropical-themed farewell dinner and party. Enjoy your last unforgettable Costa Rican sunset at sea en route to Puerto Caldera.

                    Day 10 Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica

                    Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica

                    Early morning arrival in Puerto Caldera port. Disembarkation is between 9.00 am and 10.00 am. After breakfast, say goodbye to your new friends and the crew, and transfer to the next stage of your adventure, a four-star hotel in San José. Take the day to relax or explore the capital city.

                      Day 11 San José, Costa Rica

                      Sloth, Manuel Antonio Costa Rica

                      Take the day at your leisure. Call our team for ideas for off-the-beaten-track tours. We have great ideas from chocolate- and coffee-tasting to seeking out Three-Toed Sloths. Return to your hotel.

                        Day 12 San José, Costa Rica

                        San Jose , Costa Rica

                        Your driver will pick you up from your hotel for a half-day tour of the Costa Rican capital. The tour is a handpicked mixture of museums, beautiful boulevards, stately landmarks, lush city parks, and diverse neighborhoods. Your English-speaking tour guide will lead you on foot and also by air-conditioned vehicle. You’ll see San José’s National Library and the Casa Amarilla. Admission to the National Theatre and the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum are included. After an action-packed day of culture and sightseeing, it’s time to head home. Your driver will make sure you have all your belongings and will drop you at the airport to start your journey.
