Highlights

Located on the north-western tip of North Male Atoll, 50 minutes by speedboat from Male’s airport, Oblu SELECT at Sangeli is spread across two tiny isles surrounded by brilliant blue. An all-inclusive luxury resort, the islands are linked by a string of water villas on stilts with an inner and outer coral reef home to abundant sea life providing incredible opportunities for diving and snorkelling. Looked down into the surreal, pale waters to see reef sharks, green turtles and stingrays swimming just below. There are three beaches, including one that has a waterslide leading directly into the sea, complimentary watersports like kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling, along with Pilates and sunrise yoga sessions. After a day of play, enjoy decadent therapies and massages at the spa. There’s also an adults-only pool, four restaurants, and a cocktail bar. Restaurants

  • Courtyard restaurant on the main part of the island which services buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an extensive array of Western fare along with Maldivian dishes and Indian curries. Live stations and special themed nights are offered too. On Banyan Island.
  • Simply Veg serves a la carte gourmet vegetarian dishes with many vegan options, known for redefining contemporary non-meat cuisine with surprising and tasty flavour combinations. They can even be paired with vegan wines.
  • You’ll also find Just Grill on Banyan, which offers an a la carte menu of seafood, including the fresh catch of the day and meat grills which can be followed with a variety of delicious light and decadent desserts

Beach Villa

There are 39 stand-alone Beach Villas, all of which offer nearly 872 square feet and face the island’s turquoise lagoons, providing direct beach access along with large open-air bathrooms. Along with all the room options, they include freestanding tubs and minibars with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks.

    Deluxe Beach Villa

    The Deluxe Beach Villas are spread over 1,087 square feet and come with all the standard amenities plus private 140-square-foot pools. Like the Beach Villas, they come offer vibrant pops of colour, vaulted ceilings and wood flooring.

      2 Bedroom Beach Pool Suite

      The 2 Bedroom Beach Pool Suites provide 1,636-square-feet of space accommodating four adults or two adults and up to four children with spacious living areas and large outdoor verandas that face 140-square-foot private pools, complete with direct beach access.

        Water Villa

        The 840-square-foot Water Villas are set around the turquoise waters of the lagoon and are designed to provide lots of privacy along with a romantic feel. Guests staying here enjoy direct lagoon access from individual sundecks.

          Water Pool Villa

          Water Pool Villas not only provide the chance to wake up to dazzling Indian Ocean views, but they include all the amenities and space of the Water Villas while adding a private pool.

            Honeymoon Select Villa

            Honeymoon Select Villas are overwater honeymoon suites with 1,098-square-feet of space and ultra-luxe interiors. They have round beds that overlook the lagoon, large round tubs, mirrored ceilings and walls, skylights, expansive sundecks with sunbeds and 140-square-foot private pools.
