Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa Overview
Designed in the style of longhouses, this Marriott Resort is built on stilts and connected by a series of walkways. It sits along the Melinau River, and every room includes a balcony or veranda providing a view of the river or lush surrounding jungle. They come in a variety of categories from Deluxe to the Royal Suite, but each one includes hot showers, air-conditioning, minibars, and hardwood flooring. There’s a small pool for a refreshing dip after jungle treks while the on-site restaurant serves both western fare and local dishes. On most nights, there are events hosted by the staff to showcase the local culture.
