A unique hotel set within a former 19th-century Sicilian estate in the countryside near Realmonte, known for its picturesque vineyards, Masseria Agnello is an elegant boutique hotel with its original buildings lovingly restored to retain many original features. A pretty pool with a large solarium and a rock garden with aromatic plants and herbs are on the grounds and there’s an on-site restaurant that serves tasty traditional Italian fare. Guests who feel inspired by the menu can even join a cooking class with the chef. Guided tours and activities can be arranged too. Rooms are in the original stables and servant’s quarters with modern amenities added. All include air conditioning, minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities along with beds that have high-quality linens. Families and other small groups can book the Family Suite which includes two double bedrooms.
