Unforgettable Travel Company

Intro

There are few people who haven’t dreamed of traveling to Greece, appealing to just about everyone, from beach lovers to foodies and history buffs. The people are some of the friendliest in the world, as ranked by numerous travel surveys while the capital city of Athens, where most visitors begin their explorations, is widely regarded as the birthplace of western civilization.

One can follow in the footsteps of ancient greats like Plato and Socrates while strolling Acropolis hill with its 5th-century BC monuments like the iconic Parthenon. While there’s a wealth of historic sites to explore, there are many modern delights too, including practically endless opportunities to shop from lively markets and antique stores to boutiques and gift/souvenir shops. Traditional tavernas serve mouth-watering authentic eats like moussaka, souvlaki and Greek salads. If you’re in the mood for fine dining you’ll find plenty of restaurants helmed by top chefs, often with a spectacular view of the Acropolis.

The Cyclades

Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini, Milos and Paros and more

The Cyclades are one of the most popular island groups, lying east of mainland Greece. Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini, Milos and Paros are all part of this group as some of the most visited in the archipelago. Island-hopping small-ship cruises often explore the Cyclades, but they can also be visited independently, accessed by ferry or, via a direct flight from Athens in some cases.

Paros

Paros is a favorite at the heart of the archipelago, renowned for its beaches, ancient monuments and its buzzing nightlife. Activities like diving, kitesurfing and windsurfing are all enjoyed here too. Santorini rarely needs an introduction, home to some of the top luxury hotels in Greece. It’s renowned for its dramatic caldera and home to a Pompeii-like settlement that provides a glimpse of island life nearly 3,700 years ago along with colorful beaches, a world-class dining scene, and wine made from grapes grown in its volcanic soil.

Paros features traditional Cycladic architecture with whitewashed buildings that have blue accents but it’s also cosmopolitan, with some of the most enticing luxury hotels in Greece, including Parilio Hotel, a 5-star boutique property.
