Leroo La Tau Lodge Overview
Leroo La Tau sits along the Boteti River overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The river provides an important water source to wildlife during the dry season, particularly between November and May when there will be huge herds of zebra and wildebeest passing through. The surrounding area is also inhabited by abundant lion along with cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena, impala, and many other animals.
Accommodation is in 12 luxurious glass-fronted, thatched chalets, including one two-bedroom suite for families. All include en-suite bathrooms with showers and are raised on wooden platforms for taking advantage of the views from their cliffside vantage point, including the river and the Makgadikgadi Pans. Game drives are provided, and when possible, boat excursions are available too. The grounds include a pool for swimming or lounging around, as well as a game-viewing hide built into the banks of the river for watching the animals that come to drink.
