L’AND Vineyards Overview
Located in rural Alentejo just 15 minutes from Evora and its remarkable Roman ruins, L’AND Vineyards lies adjacent to vineyards on one side and borders a lake with the medieval hilltop village of Montemor-o-Novo just across the water. It’s set among white modernist buildings, with 10 of the 22 suites featuring retractable roofs so that you can sleep under the brilliant star-filled sky. They also feature outdoor patios with plunge pools. All come with in-floor heating, Nespresso machines, and large terraces with fireplaces. Guests enjoy access to both an outdoor and an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and a spa offering massage along with various scrubs and other grape-based treatments. Bicycles are provided complimentary for riding around the lake and horseback riding can be arranged as well. The on-site restaurant is the region’s only one with a Michelin star, serving Scandinavian-inspired fare with an excellent wine pairing from the property’s own vineyard and the region.
