Kwihala Camp Overview
Sat in the heart of Ruaha National Park in southern Tanzania is Kwihala Camp. As part of the Asilia portfolio, Kwihala is a camp that really enhances the safari experience. There is nothing quite like the feeling that a tented camp offers. At night, you’ll be able to hear the roar of lions and during the day, you will probably see elephants walking through camp. The camp offers an intimate experience, with only six expedition-style canvassed tents – each with en-suite bathrooms and safari bucket showers. The camp is located close to the Mwagusi River which is fantastic for game viewing, and close to camp, sausage and jackalberry trees provide a beautiful and unique landscape. Safari activities here include game drives and walking safaris. Of course, breakfasts in the bush and sundowners are served on a daily basis to enhance your Ruaha experience.
