Kono Kono Overview
Kono Kono is situated on the south-eastern coast of Zanzibar and, in our opinion, has one of the best beaches on the island. This area, named Michamvi Kae, is home to an expansive white sand beach and glistening azure waters. Kono Kono has an infinity pool which overlooks the Chwaka Bay in the Indian Ocean. This main area also features a restaurant, a bar and plenty of comfortable outdoor lounge areas to sunbathe, relax or enjoy a sundowner from. There are several room categories to choose from – garden villas, family villas, sea view villas or the beach pavilion rooms. Although they are all slightly different in size and views offered, they all have very clean, minimal and contemporary designs to them. If you are looking for comfortable yet simple accommodation with a breath-taking beach, then Kono Kono is a great choice.
