Kinabatangan Wetlands Resort Overview
While accommodation is simple, a stay at the Kinabatangan Wetlands Resort is memorable thanks to its wetland setting and wide range of animal and plant life. The local mangrove forest and freshwater swamps and mangrove forest are inhabited by hornbill, rhinoceros, orangutan, and langurs along with unique and beautiful tropical plant life. The rewarding activities include the chance to meet the local Orang Sungai people, day and night safaris on the river, and jungle walks. There are 10 twin cabins, all bright and spacious, featuring wooden floors, white linens, solar-powered ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms. The grounds include a lounge and open-air dining area.
