Continue to Korcula Island where you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour through Korcula Old Town which looks as if it came straight from the pages of a storybook, complete with walls, gates, towers, and bastions. Departing early for one of the most remote islands in Croatia, Vis, en route we’ll stop so that you can enjoy a refreshing dip in a hidden cove or secluded bay surrounded by magnificent scenery. Arriving at Vis this afternoon, you’ll notice an incredibly serene atmosphere as it’s largely unspoiled by tourism due to its isolation and having been closed off to the public for decades while used as a military base. The remarkably well-preserved buildings date all the way back to the 4th century, with influences by the Greeks, Romans, and Venetians.
