Inkaterra La Casona Overview
Ideally located on peaceful Plazoleta de las Nazarenas in Cusco’s San Blas District next to the Museum of Colonial Art, Inkaterra La Casona sits within a grand colonial mansion that was one of the most exclusive addresses in the 16th-century. Today it provides a pampering, intimate experience for a small number of guests with accommodation in 11 rooms, including four patio suites and five balcony suites that overlook the inner courtyard, and two plaza suites looking out onto the picturesque plaza. All include Spanish colonial style twin or king beds, open fireplaces, gorgeous antiques and works of art, heated floors, and marble bathrooms. Breakfast is served buffet style featuring fresh fruit, cheeses, cured meats, and pastries that can be enjoyed with coffee or coca tea. Complimentary tea using home-grown leaves is served in the late afternoon, while lunch and dinner includes Peruvian fusion fare, including some exotic items like guinea pig.
