Victoria & Alfred Cape Town Overview
The Victoria and Alfred Hotel was originally built in 1904 as a warehouse for the harbour, and in 1990 it was converted into a luxury hotel. It is located right in the centre of the V&A Waterfront, with spectacular views over the sea. Each room is contemporary in style with views out to the ocean, mountains or the piazza. The loft rooms are located on the top floor and are slightly smaller than the more spacious Piazza and mountain facing rooms. Rooms are air-conditioned with a king sized beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and mini bar as well as 24-hour room service. The Ginja Restaurant has stunning views and serves artisanal style dishes.
