Ideally located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Hotel Des Arts is just a 10-minute walk from the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace. It’s a stunning mix of contemporary Vietnamese and French colonial, complete with a glass-walled saltwater pool on the 24th floor with magnificent views across the city. There’s a library with works of art to relax in and a pampering spa that offers services blending European and Asian techniques. Dining options include the Asian street food market-inspired Saigon Kitchen for all-day dining with a buffet lunch that serves Pan-Asian and Western dishes. A la carte dinners include a special seafood feast on the weekends. After dark the rooftop bar is the place to be for bespoke cocktails with a view. Rooms and suites include huge, soft beds, flat-screen TVs, complimentary tea and coffee, and Nespresso machines. Some have claw-foot tubs with views over the city.
