When to Visit Thailand

The high tourist season from November to March is the cool and dry season which follows the monsoons for beautifully lush landscapes. This is also when the country will be at its busiest, which can be crowds and inflated rates. The shoulder seasons of April through June are hot and dry, but sea breezes in coastal areas offer natural air conditioning. In September and October, you can avoid heavy rain by visiting the Gulf Coast Islands. The low season is the monsoon season which means lower prices and fewer crowds, but it can bring everything from brief afternoon showers to major flooding.

Phi Phi has been called a honeymooner’s paradise with its perfect mix of high-end resorts, luxurious spas, and nature, nestled among the brilliant blue and green waters of the Andaman Sea. There is a wide range of resorts and villas providing magnificent sea views, beautiful pools, and lavish spas.

Where should I stay on my honeymoon in Thailand?

Thailand offers many honeymoon-worthy hotels and resorts from Bangkok to the islands. Some provide accommodation in private villas that even come with their own pool. What are the essential things to do on a honeymoon in Thailand?

There are so many romantic things to do in Thailand but the most essential include cruising the canals in Bangkok, visiting the floating markets, and taking a private boat tour with your own captain who will bring you around to the best snorkeling spots. With so many great spas, you’ll definitely want to get a couple’s massage, and if you want to get passionate about something together, take a cooking class so that you can learn to make some of your favorite Thai meals when you get back home. Walking with elephants at the Elephant Nature Park near Chiang Mai is also a must.
