Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Overnight at Sea: Visit Ios + Welcome Dinner

Chora town, Ios island, Cyclades, Greece.

Begin your 7-nights Greece and Turkey cruise by taking private transfer from Athens International Airport or your hotel in the city to Piraeus Port. Your ship will be available for embarkation between 2pm and 3pm. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, unpack your bags and settle into your luxury cabin. You might want to head on deck as we cruise towards Ios, a gorgeous island that’s frequently been named among the best in Europe and is particularly famous for its postcard-perfect beaches. This evening you’ll get to know the crew and your fellow shipmates during the delicious multi-course welcome dinner.

Day 2 Overnight at Sea: Visit Santorini, Optional Akrotiri Tour & Much More

Santorini Greece

Before sailing to your next destination, visit Manganari Beach where you can enjoy swimming off what’s considered to be one of Ios Island’s most spectacular stretches of sand. Afterward we’ll continue to Santorini, renowned for its colourful red and black sand beaches, and unique volcanic landscape created by massive volcanic eruptions. You’ll disembark in one of the world’s most dramatic ports, with the caldera rising above. Visit the island’s capital city of Fira, characterized by a white cluster of homes tucked along the cliffs. You’ll have the option to tour the archaeological settlement of Akrotiri, followed by watching one of Oia’s famous sunsets.

Day 3 Patmos: Optional Tour ot the Monastery of St. John

Patmos, Greece

By the time you rise this morning we’ll be at Patmos. This seahorse-shaped Dodecanese island is tucked between Leros, Fourni and Ikaria near Turkey. It’s most famous as the sacred island which inspired St. John to write the Book of Revelations. We highly recommend joining the optional excursion to the monastery and grotto of St. John. The 11th-century monastery was dedicated to the saint and looks like a fortress, overlooking the whitewashed homes in the hilltop capital. You can also wander through the medieval Chora, getting lost among its narrow streets and lanes to discover hidden treasures.  Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 4 Overnight at Sea: Kusadasi, Ephesus and Samos

Ephesus, Turkey

Continuing our journey, we’ll sail from Patmos for Kusadisi in Turkey. By joining an optional excursion, you’ll be able to explore more fascinating ancient civilizations, including the greatest archaeological site, Ephesus. This was once a lively city, back in ancient times, and today its Greek and Roman heritage has been incredibly well preserved. You can almost hear the chariots traveling the main street – the very same avenue Mark Anthony and Cleopatra traversed themselves. You’ll have time to discover it before we depart for Samos Island. Enjoy relaxing or swimming here, perhaps finding an intriguing café along the waterfront for a drink.

Day 5 Mykonos: Explore Delos + Overnight in Mykonos

Mykonos

After an overnight at sea, we’ll anchor at uninhabited Delos. This UNESCO-listed island was the birthplace of Apollo. Here, you can take an optional guided tour to wander through the incredible archaeological ruins, including temples, a theater, and more. Mykonos is just a few miles away but we’ll stop before anchoring so you can enjoy swimming in one of the beautiful beaches. Reaching Mykonos in the afternoon, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace. You’ll find plenty of museums to explore, lots of trendy shops and eateries, or you can visit the historic, iconic windmills.

Day 6 Tinos: BBQ Feast and Optional Village Tour

Church of Panagia Evangelistria at Tinos island in Greece

Continuing our cruise to Tinos, here you’ll discover a beautiful island without the crowds that tend to gather on islands like Mykonos and Santorini. We’ll visit one of its most spectacular beaches where you’ll indulge in a tasty BBQ feast and enjoy time for swimming. Afterward, we’ll sail into the harbour. From here, an optional tour to the picturesque villages of Volax and Exovergo is possible. The villages offer the chance to meet up with famous basket weavers and marble sculpting workshops. We’ll overnight in Tinos so you can enjoy dinner here this evening too.

Day 7 Port of Piraeus: Explore Kythnos and Cape Sounion

Kythnos, Greece

On the final full day of the cruise, you’ll sail to beautiful Kythnos. On this mountainous island, we’ll host a BBQ and you’ll have time to enjoy swimming off the shores of Kolones Beach. Back onboard, we depart for Cape Sounion. It’s home to the nearly 200-foot-high Temple of Poseidon, the God of the Sea, which sits at the tip of the Attica Peninsula, soaring over the Aegean Sea. This is the ideal spot for hosting our farewell cocktails and dinner, which celebrates this memorable Greece and Turkey trip. We’ll begin cruising back to Marina Keas at the Port of Piraeus this evening.

Day 8 Disembarkation

Athens. Greece

As we have reached the eighth day of our cruise, it’s time to disembark. Be sure your bags are packed this morning and then enjoy breakfast with your fellow passengers, perhaps exchanging contact information with those who have become new friends. Disembarkation is typically at 9 a.m., when you’ll meet your private transfer for the ride to your onward hotel or Athens Airport.
