Gleneagles Overview
An icon dating back to 1924 on an 850-acre estate, Gleneagles Hotel offers everything one could need without having to leave the property. Nestled in the Ochil Hills, there are nearly an endless array of activities on offer, with fishing, falconry, archery, golfing, and even ferret racing just a few. There are three championship golf courses right on-site and an award-winning ESPA Spa with a swimming pool, sauna, beauty salon, gym, and decadent treatments that include everything from stress-melting massages to body rituals. There are eight restaurants and three bars, including the double Michelin-starred Andrew Fairlie Restaurant and the Strathearn Restaurant with a menu of Scottish dishes influenced by French cooking. A full Scottish breakfast can be enjoyed every morning. The intimate American Bar, inspired by 1920s speakeasys is a great spot for cocktails Many rooms offer balconies and picturesque views, and all come with TVs and DVD players, Wi-Fi, and mini-fridges.
