Located close to the main tourist hub in the Atacama Desert, San Pedro de Atacama, Explora Lodge is ideal for those who are looking for peace, tranquillity and incredibly clear night skies. It offers an extensive menu of activity options and most are included in the all-inclusive room rates, such as stargazing trips, hikes, bike rides, and horseback riding excursions. There’s plenty to do on-site as well, in fact, the property even has its own hot springs. There’s also a spa, massage room, swimming pool, stables, and a well-stocked shop. Meals start with a breakfast buffet with fresh-made juices, eggs made-to-order, fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses and pancakes. Haute Chilean fare is served for lunch and dinner, with excellent picnics organized for day trips. Alcoholic beverages are included on a complimentary basis too with an excellent wine list. Rooms offer views of the mountains or desert and include both showers and whirlpool tubs.
