Eagles Crag Lodge Overview

One of Shamwari’s seven safari lodges is Eagles Crag Lodge. The lodge is made up of nine suites, each designed with the utmost creativity and attention to detail. The interior design is breath-taking, with earthy tones and lots of private spots to sit and relax, wrapped in wicker material. Each suite has air conditioning, Nespresso coffee machines, an indoor and outdoor shower, and a private deck with heated plunge pools. The nightly rate at Eagles Crag Lodge is all-inclusive, so all of your meals, drinks, park fees, safari activities, and guiding are included. You can also make full use of the facilities of the lodge, like the cozy fireplace and boma, the bar areas, the relaxation retreat with a steam room and sauna, and the fitness center. You will have morning and afternoon game drives in the Shamwari Game Reserve. The reserve is a 90-minute drive from Port Elizabeth airport, or you can access the reserve by driving further along the iconic Garden Route. The reserve is privately owned and houses the Big Five which includes elephants, buffalo, rhino, leopards, and lions.
