Descobertas Boutique Hotel Overview
Set along a bustling street among eateries and vibrant buildings along the Douro River, just a short walk from the São Bento Train Station and the Metro Station, Descobertas offers an ideal location if you want to be in the heart of it all. In fact, it’s less than a 5-minute walk to the iconic Dom Luis Bridge where you can cross the river to visit the famous Port Wine Cellars. Inspired by the places Portuguese navigators arrived during the Discoveries, each floor is unique, showcasing the variety of perspectives of the time as well as some of the discovered colonies. They all include standard amenities like flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, minibars, electric kettles, air conditioning, and marble bathrooms. A free hot breakfast is included in every stay, served at the Mezzanine Bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
