Casa de Uco Resort Overview
Casa de Uco (Uco House) is a winery/vineyard resort on a private estate in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. While it’s a rural hideaway, two hours from the city of Mendoza, it stands out for its eco-friendly industrial architecture. A highlight is the full-wall panoramas of the vines that stretch all the way to the snow-dusted Andean peaks. Some of the best rooms are on the top floor facing the lagoon, with a glass frontage that brings the outdoors in. They have private balconies and bathtubs for soaking with a view right next to the window panes of floor-to-ceiling windows. The bungalows, made of concrete-and-steel, look like futuristic villas and include rooftop Jacuzzis. There’s a spa offering hydrotherapy and vinotherapy treatments, a steam room, a wet sauna and cedar sauna, as well as a fitness center, open-air Jacuzzi, and an outdoor pool. The outstanding restaurant serves dishes using produce grown on the estate or nearby farms.
