Rekero Camp Overview
Located on the confluence of the Talek and Mara Rivers inside the Masai Mara National Reserve is the much-loved Rekero Camp. The camp itself is a seasonal camp which means it is only set up between June and October, and then again between December and March. This means that it essentially misses out the rainy months in Kenya, which are November, April and May. Rekero is made up of nine authentic and luxurious safari camps, each structured with canvas, offering comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms. The main draw to Rekero is its location as it is a great location from the migration crossing points on the Mara River. As well as the herds, there is plenty of resident wildlife here, with hippo, elephant and antelope regularly seen from the camp. The camp is part of the Asilia portfolio so you can rest assured your Masai guides will be knowledgeable, personable and kind-hearted.
