Little Governors Camp Overview
As part of the Governors Collection, Little Governors is a camp we would recommend time and time again. The camp itself sits on the edge of the Masai Mara National Reserve and to get into the reserve, you take a short boat ride over the Mara River and then as escorted short walk through the riverine forest. This location is the best of both worlds – it offers seclusion and an undisturbed area for accommodation, as well as being minutes from the most abundant wildlife area in, arguably, the whole of Kenya. Little Governors Camp has 17 luxury ensuite safari tents which all have views across to the impressive Olololo Escarpment. The camp is run entirely by solar power and has won awards for its sustainability efforts which others are following. The main area is home to a tented lounge and dining area, and spa treatments and massages are offered to guests in their tent if they wish after a thrilling day on a game drive.
