Kichakani Serengeti Camp Overview

Kichakani Camp is a mobile tented camp which means that it moves location throughout the year, following the wildebeest herds. Between January and March, the camp is located in the southern Serengeti (closest airstrip Serengeti South) where you can watch the wildebeest and their calves trot around the open plains. Between June and November, the camp packs up and moves to the northern Serengeti. In both locations, the camp itself is a beautiful mix of colonialism and exploration, and contemporary design with modern comforts. Kichakani Camp is made up of 10 canvassed tents, each with a large wooden deck overlooking the Serengeti plains, a fan, desk and a comfortable bed with a mosquito netting around. The ensuite bathrooms feature bucket showers and as you will have your own personal tent attendant, they will be there to assure the hot water is ready to go for you to enjoy your authentic bush shower. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and you will soon become part of the Sanctuary family!
