A lakeside resort accessed only by boat, Aiman Batan Ai sits on a wooded finger of land at the east end of Lake Batang Ai. Guests enjoy a free 20-minute boat ride and an especially tranquil, secluded setting. Rooms have modern amenities, including private bathrooms, air-conditioning, fans, kettles, TVs, and minifridges. As this is a longhouse, they face inland, but there are long, communal verandas for sunset watching. There’s a swimming pool on the property along with a wellness center offering Borneo-inspired treatments, including scrubs, massages, and reflexology. Dining is enjoyed at the lake-view Nanga Mepi restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
