Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Malé: Embarkation
Welcome to the Maldives, one of the world’s most stunning tropical destinations. Your cruise will begin in Villigili on the island of Malé, just 20 minutes away from the international airport. You’ll be welcomed by your cruise director, with plenty of time to get settled and relax in your cabin before attending a welcome meeting, with introductions to the captain, crew and your fellow passengers. Pre-dinner cocktails while getting to know everyone can be enjoyed in the restaurant or bar, but you’ll want to head to the deck just before sunset to watch the brilliant colors splash across the Indian Ocean first.
Day 2 South Malé Atoll: Vaagali Marine Life
Kicking off our cruise, we’ll make our way to South Malé Atoll, sailing through the Vaadhoo Kandu channel. We’ll visit the picturesque, remote sands of Kalhuhuraa, so that you can enjoy a tranquil spot for unwinding and soaking up the sun. Of course, just about everyone looks forward to their first dip into the strikingly clear, warm turquoise waters. When we reach beautiful Vaagali Island, you’ll be able to explore caves where it’s easy to spot majestic schools of stingrays. Just southeast, Vaagali Thila is an ideal dive site for viewing sharks that cruise the current, along with eagle rays, manta rays and more.
Day 3 Villivaru Giri: Luxuries on the Resort Island of Rannalhi
This morning we’ll continue our island-hopping cruise by sailing to the resort island of Rannalhi at the western tip of South Malé Atoll. Known for its tranquil sandy beaches, calm, clear waters, and resort, you’ll have access to outstanding reef snorkelling, and spa facilities for indulging in relaxation, guaranteed to melt every inch of stress away. While swimming, you’ll be able to spot everything from eagle rays and white tipped reef sharks to dogtooth tuna. We’ll anchor at Villivaru Giri where you can enjoy more swimming and snorkelling among the abundant marine life, and join an optional night traditional line fishing trip.
Day 4 Alimatha: Turtles, Eagle Rays and Sharks
This morning we make our way to Alimatha, crossing the channel into Vaavu Felidu. Enjoy a gourmet lunch as we sail to this island paradise with brilliant aquamarine lagoons and glistening white sands, ideal for sunbathing and snorkelling. At the famous Miyaru Kandu dive site, common sightings include eagle rays, trevally, and schools of grey reef and whitetip reef sharks. The grey reef sharks here are quite different compared to other Indo-Pacific destinations, with white tips on the ends of their dorsal fins. If you opt to take the night snorkelling excursion, you’ll see stingrays and massive nurse sharks swimming in their natural habitat.
Day 5 Anbaraa: Traditional Maldives Beach BBQ
We head to the north-west side of Vaavu Atoll, enjoying a leisurely morning of relaxing or snorkelling at the reef. This afternoon, a dive at Rakeedhoo Kandoo will be enjoyed, with the chance to see some of the most impressive tropical fish and stunning corals. This evening, you can join us for a traditional Maldives-style beach BBQ. The feast includes lots of mouthwatering foods while providing the chance to socialise and relax, the perfect way to end the day after all the activity in the water. Afterwards, gaze up at the starry night’s sky over the ocean, away from light pollution, it’s remarkable.
Day 6 South Ari Atoll: Snorkelling, Diving and More
Crossing the channel to South Ari Atoll, we’ll stop at so that you can enjoy exploring the breathtaking aqua lagoon and a vibrant reef, thriving with hard coral while snorkelling. With your appetite worked up, you’ll enjoy lunch on board afterwards before returning to the sand bank this afternoon. An optional excursion to Kuda Rah Thila, a protected dive site, is something you really shouldn’t miss this evening. One of the most exciting in South Ari, you’ll be among thousands of blue striped snappers. The famous Machchafushi cargo freighter wreck, now covered in coral and inhabited by marine life, will be visited too.
Day 7 Maamingili: Experience Authentic Island Life
We’ll sail to the uninhabited, agricultural island of Ariadhoo, known for its coconut plantation, this morning. It’s also home to the remains of an ancient Buddhist stupa which you can explore, or simply choose to relax on the pristine white sands and swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters offshore. An optional whale shark excursion is on the itinerary too, providing the chance for close encounters with the incredible gentle giants. Arriving in the late afternoon, you’ll can experience authentic island life, mingling with the locals and shopping for gifts or souvenirs.
Day 8 Maamingili: Day of Leisure
The ship will remain anchored in Maamingili today so that mid-cruise passengers can take transfer to the airport. You can spend the day at your leisure, perhaps taking an optional excursion, relaxing, or exploring the island. The busy main street is fun to wander, with its lively vibe, unique shops and restaurants serving tasty local cuisine. If you want to get back into the water, a diving trip taken on a traditional Maldivian Dhoni can be enjoyed. These elegant, handcrafted sailboats have been an important part of this island nation for centuries, resembling traditional Arab sailing vessels, providing an especially memorable trip.
Day 9 Hurasdhoo: The Stunning Underwater World
Staying inside Alif Dhaal Atoll, our next stop is small, deserted Hurasdhoo Island, recognised by a single coconut tree at its center. Also known as Pineapple Island, the tropical fruit can be seeing growing wild here. If you like to snorkel, you’ll love it here with a gorgeous reef just offshore. You’ll be able to snorkel or dive a small pinnacle called Embudu Thila, with its shallow top reef, vibrant coral and abundant fish life. Snorkelling and diving is possible at Moofushi Kandu as well, a channel teeming with marine life, including tropical fish, grey reef sharks, eagle rays and the occasional turtle. With a little luck you might be able to swim right alongside one. Tonight, an optional fishing trip is available too.

Here you can enjoy snorkelling among the sea turtles, rays and multitude of exotic fish, or you can opt for a diving excursion. Morning and afternoon trips are available to Kandu Thila, famous for an underwater pinnacle called Fish Head. Waking up in Maayafushi, you’ll be just offshore from this tiny island fringed by a spectacular wide sand beach, with its center covered in lush greenery. Located at the northern edge of Ari Atoll, it attracts flocks of seabirds, while the vibrant reef features schools of fish and magnificent coral you’ll be able to view while snorkelling. A night dive can be enjoyed at one of the country’s most famous dive sites, Maaya Thila, a hunting ground popular among sharks and stingrays. You’ll also have the chance to swim around an extension of the reef sloping down into a channel, Bathalaa Maaga Kan.
Day 14 Male: Explore the City of Malé
Coming to the end of our 14-nights cruise, we’ll begin our return to Malé, stopping for our last refreshing swim in the enticing blue waters of the Indian Ocean first. Upon our arrival to Malé city, enjoy leisurely time to explore. We recommend visiting the colourful food markets, and strolling the streets of the capital to soak up its unique character, admiring buildings like the Maldives’ oldest mosque, the Old Friday Mosque, constructed over 400 years ago, and the Grand Friday Mosque, the largest and one of the world’s most beautiful mosques.
