137 Pillars House Overview
The most exclusive hotel in Chiang Mai, 137 Pillars House is made up of luxurious colonial-inspired suites built around a 19th-century teak residence. Located in the Wat Gate area, it provides an oasis of calm yet lively downtown Chiang Mai is within each reach. The opulent suites include colonial-style furniture with two- or four-poster beds and are extra-spacious. The entry-level options are 753-square-feet and have sliding doors that lead to a furnished private terrace. The highest categories come with separate living areas and private plunge pools. All come with private butlers and have flat-screen TVs with DVD players, minibars, iPod docks, iPads, Nespresso machines and kettles. The property includes a long outdoor pool and adjacent deck with loungers and a spa providing a variety of treatments. There’s a gym and yoga classes are hosted too. Guests can dine on Thai dishes at The Dining Room and Western fare in the Palette restaurant.
